The Today Show Chose Eagle Storage of Dover!

When the Today Show needed storage to produce a segment called "Lend-A-Hand" with Al Roker on the Seacoast of NH in June of 2010, who did they choose? Eagle Storage of Dover! They entrusted us to receive, manage and store $500,000 worth of goods being donated from companies around the region and the nation.

Deliveries streamed in for about a month. Our maintenance man outfitted our Bobcat with forklifts and needed them more times than we could count! We had to keep it hush hush though...this was a strictly confidential operation, as it was essential to keep the media and the public in the dark about the big surprise at the Seacoast Science Center on June 25!

On the morning of the big show, donning our brand new Eagle Storage logo T-shirts, our small but mighty staff gathered to leave at 5AM to arrive in Rye NH early, driving two 24 foot trucks full of exciting donations down to the site. Then when it was time to go on the air, Liz Comeau, Dover manager, jumped on to the back of the truck and was on camera when the big reveal happened. Jason Barratt, the maintenance manager and Richard Wiedeman, weekend relief manager were also there on the ground helping to unload the 6+ tons of boxes, canoes, electronics and more!

We were also mentioned on camera as donors ourselves, as we offered up to 3 years of storage to the Seacoast Science Center to help them contain all of the extra inventory they now own! Wendy Lull, the director has been so grateful and gracious to us. It was our pleasure, Wendy!

If NBC's Today Show chose us, how about you?
